73 and still going strong
I fell in love in 2002 with my wife and then I move here to the Philippines lock, stock and barrel. After almost four years of on and off of construction we finally finished the construction of our 400 s.m plus 2 story house ( we call the BIG HOUSE) and two week before last Christmas then without a glance we moved in. Although the outside has yet to be painted but that's okay I don't have to see it unfinished. I have to say this is the biggest house I've lived in and no money is owed to any banker or loan shark. So with all that said Danao City is my home for the rest of my days. Just the three of Belinda my wife, Junior our 14 y.o son and me the old WASP guy. To fill my days and to make a little money if I am lucky this week I an ecommerence blog titled "Ladies Corner 4 U." It's an exciting new boutique site just for gurls! A one stop shopping site designed 4 busy ladies. The address is http://ladiescorner4u.blogspot.com/
On a personal note, before settling here I've worked & lived in several places, such as working on the Space Shuttle launch pad, North Slope and lived as a young man worked & lived in rainy SE Alaska... In my 50s and into my 60s I returned to school - UCLA and Rancho Santiago College and earned three degrees. I thought at one time that I wanted to be a lawyer but soon dropped that idea. What do I love about the Philippines - that's easy "my wife." Do I miss the states - yes at times but this is where my home is now with my wife Belinda. Life has been grand to me.
