NW Alaska? Wow how long have you lived and worked there? I am an ordained minister with a missionary call to the Philippines. I have a home in Ozamiz City in the Bay of Panguil. Even though it is on Mindanao it is considered part of the Visayas. I was fortuante to have lived there for 7 months, but returned to the states because of my mothers illness. I petitioned my wife her several months later and she has now been here 17 months. We went home in December and stayed through January and already we are planning to go back as her sons visas may be approved in August if everything goes according to schedule.
I know you must be excited about your wife coming here in June. Does she realize how cold it can get there.....lol. Jhoanna is liking the weather change here in Oklahoma. It is getting warmer now. This year was her first time to go out in the snow. We had about 1 inch...lol. She hates the cold so it ias good we are in Oklahoma instead of Alaska. Will you be living there indefinitely or are you on a contract of some sort?
I will post some pictures later of a seaweed farm we recently purchased at our place. It will really help her family with basic needs. We already had bought a fishing boat and net for her brother, but this farm came available and we jumped at the chance to get it. It is something we had talked about many times before.
Gotta go for now. Feel free to send me a message anytime. Be blessed my friend!!!

I hope the weather here hasn't been too hot for since you're use to cooler weather. Alaska isn't a bad place to live because I know since I lived there for several years... at those times it seemed everyone worked and pulled together. Of course things could of changed since young days so far ago. I haven't been feeling too well lately so I've been laying low and getting all my TLC from my wife Beng. You & your wife have fun and enjoy the weather here. Chuck

She has been here about 4 years and she is happy but misses home alot. we are going back for a visit for the first time this may, and we plan to suprise her family, hope we dont give them heart failure. Alaska! that is on top of my list of places i want to visit somtime. Im sure Chuchi will love seeing it, and doing all the things youve talked about. I know Veroniza loved seeing her first snowfall, but then it stayed and stayed and got colder and colder and now she hates it even more than i do. Spring and fall are her favorites, she realy loves when the trees start changing. Hope Chuchi will make it their soon, you will have a blast watching her experience so many new things, how long have you two been married.
