No flooding here in any of the typhoons... This house has gone through one typhoon in 2005, the only damage was to some of the plants that had leaves stripped off including my avocado tree, which did come back up later. You can see this tree a small 4 foot tree in some of the photos.

In order to purchase a house in the Philippines it needs to be owned by at least 51% or more by a Filipino. Either have a Filipino Spouse, or find a business partner who can own 60% and you 40%. IF you are married to a Filipina you can have it purchased in her name and you are fine.
